FSE Celebrates Local Digital Talent For Second Year Running At The 2015 Essex Digital Awards
The team at FSE had a fantastic evening at the Essex Digital Awards (EDAs) ceremony last night, which took place at the Weston Homes Community Stadium in Colchester.
This is the second time FSE has sponsored the EDAs, returning as Associate Sponsor after backing the scheme in its inaugural year. As an established search marketing agency in Essex, we see first-hand the impact that digital innovation has on the county’s economy and the Essex community as a whole, so we were excited to mingle with some of the industry’s brightest minds and check out the latest ground-breaking projects to emerge from not only other online agencies, but companies in other sectors who are using digital to grow their businesses.
Attendees were treated to a drinks reception and a fabulous two-course meal before being seated for the main event. Renowned journalist and broadcaster Robin Bailey hosted the evening, supported by a special warm-up guest performance from TV comedian Mark Dolan. The organisers also ran a quick quiz to drum up a little friendly competition between tables!
Bronze, Silver and Gold awards were presented to businesses across 15 categories, which included Best Small Business Website, Best Responsive Website, Best Use of Social Media for Business, Best Use of Video for Business. The much coveted Best Website trophy was awarded to Jade’s Flowers by Skyblue Creations.
FSE’s co-director Danielle Haley took to the stage to present the accolades for Best Online Business, a category which was deservedly won by local web design and development firm 2dmedia. Crafty Arts and Charlotte Emily Interiors won Silver and Bronze respectively.
Sponsors Lookers Volvo Colchester, the Essex Chronicle, and the Essex Chambers of Commerce also presented awards.
Our team would like to extend their congratulations to everyone who received an award and credit organisers Iain and Andy for their work in expanding and promoting the EDAs in the last twelve months.
