FSE Sponsors The Mid Essex Business Awards!

mid essex bus awards logoHere at FSE we like to get fully involved with local businesses, which is why we have recently agreed to sponsor the 2014 Mid Essex Business Awards! Established for nearly two decades, the scheme is organised by Newsquest, a nationwide news provider that operates some of the most prominent and popular newspapers in Essex, including Essex Country Standard, The Echo and the Chelmsford Weekly News. Stretching its influence throughout the county, Newsquest also runs schemes in Basildon, Southend, Colchester, Thurrock, as well as a Countywide initiative that’s open to businesses across the entire county.

Best Business to Business Category

We are sponsoring the Best Business to Business category and, as a part of the judging process, have been carrying out field visits this week to assess the 6 finalists. We will be looking at all aspects of each company’s business to business relationship and analysing how they demonstrate an in-depth understanding of their business customers. We will also be keen to find out what each business has achieved in the past year and what their plan of action is for the following 12 months.

Taking all of this and more into consideration, we will then choose a deserving winner, as well as a runner-up who will be named our Highly Commended Company of Choice. The chosen companies will receive their awards at the very glamorous event ceremony, which will take place on Friday 26th September at the Fennes, a beautiful Georgian manor house in Bocking near Braintree.

Meeting Fellow Essex Businesses

Over the last 17 years, the Essex Business Awards has grown to such an extent that we’re now expecting over 300 companies will attend the ceremony in 2014. We are truly excited about getting involved with this reputable scheme – not only are we looking forward to generating lots of exposure, we’re jumping at the chance to meet other like-minded businesses and can’t wait to network with fellow Essex companies!
